Lab Manager

The lab is hiring a lab manager to begin in July 2026! The full job posting can be found here. The application portal can be found here. Application review will begin in the first week of March 2026.

Applications should include:

1. A one-page cover letter describing your interest and relevant experience for the position (such as experience conducting psychological research, project coordination, and/or science writing).

2. A CV or resume highlighting relevant work and research experience.

3. Contact information for two potential references.

Postdoctoral Scholars

The lab is not currently recruiting postdocs. Please reach out to Dr. Gray if you are interested in joining in the future.

Graduate Students

Dr. Gray will not be reviewing PhD student applications for this cycle (admission in 2026-27).

Research Assistants

Thank you for your interest in joining the Deepest Beliefs Lab! RAs play a key role in our research and we are always looking for new members who are interested in the topics we study. We are not planning on recruiting any new RAs in the Spring 2026 semester. Future opportunities will be posted on our website.

To express interest in the lab, please complete this form detailing your interest in the lab. You are also welcome to reach out to our lab manager expressing your interest. If a role becomes available, you will receive an email from a lab manager or graduate student with more information.

Please note that positions are highly competitive. We generally select individuals who are willing to volunteer at least 6 hours per week (or 9 hr./wk. for course credit) but that is not a strict criterion. While previous research experience is a bonus, it is not a requirement. Unfortunately, paid positions are scarce, so most positions will likely be on a volunteer basis or for course credit.
