We are hiring a Research and Outreach Coordinator to start summer or fall 2024!

The Research and Outreach Coordinator will oversee lab-related research outreach, assist with daily administrative and research tasks, and have opportunities to work on their own relevant lines of research. This is an ideal position for individuals hoping to transition to graduate school in psychology or a related field. The application deadline is May 1, 2024. Interested in joining the lab as an undergraduate research assistant?

Thank you for your interest in joining the Deepest Beliefs Lab! We are not currently taking new research assistants (RAs) but filling out this form will give us a way to review your materials and contact you should a position open up. Please note that positions are highly competitive. We generally take about 2 to 3 new RAs per year and prioritize UNC-Chapel Hill students. It is likely that you will not hear back from us, but if a doctoral student or postdoctoral fellow is interested in interviewing you, they will reach out to you via email.

We generally select individuals who are willing to volunteer at least 4 hours per week (or 9 hr./wk. for course credit) but that is not a strict criterion. While previous research experience is a bonus, it is not a requirement. Unfortunately, paid positions are scarce, so most positions will likely be on a volunteer basis or for course credit.
